Regional Brand Manager

Join an award-winning advertising agency and work with one of the fastest-growing tractor brands in America. The Regional Brand Manager (RBM) is a full-time position at a Houston-based national advertising agency. The RBM will assist independent dealers of one of the leading Tractor and Utility Vehicle brands in the US to increase their sales and market share through effective local and regional advertising and marketing programs. Their sales and market share goals will be achieved by helping the dealers maximize the utilization of their respective co-op advertising budgets and helping plan and implement statewide regional campaigns. The RBM will have 25% travel throughout the United States with the client’s Business Manager to develop productive relationships with the tractor dealers. Your objectives will also include creating buy-in to the co-op advertising program and reporting results to Ad Agency and Client. You will also be the primary point of contact for local dealer advertising and regional marketing efforts and as such must have a clear understanding of the agriculture/rural lifestyle market segments in the region. Additionally, the RBM role will involve assisting with the national brand advertising in terms of budgeting, billing and project management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report to Ad Agency Principal
  • Provide day-to-day contact for dealers, handling requests for creative and marketing communications
  • Coordinate with the agency creative team, providing briefs and managing dealer requests through to final delivery
  • Work in coordination with Client’s respective Business Managers, Marketing Support, Sales Administration and Agency Partners
  • Study dealers’ markets, history, sales, forecasts, market share and co-op advertising utilization
  • Analyze competitive market positioning to create differentiated and market based relevant promotion strategies that align with sales forecast, market share and revenue objectives
  • Visit specified new dealers in region (approximately 30)
  • Attend regional marketing meetings conducted by Client’s Business Manager
  • Present Agency’s regional ad campaigns, co-op advertising tools, market promotions and strategy recommendations to dealers
  • Assist dealers in increasing their co-op advertising participation, utilization and marketing promotions in their local markets
  • Track changes in sales, market share and co-op utilization and report results to Agency and Client
  • Maintain regular contact with each dealer

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or agriculture economics
  • Marketing/Brand Management experience in agriculture business preferred
  • Three years ad agency or direct advertising experience preferred
  • Experience working with dealer networks is a plus
